ARK Air Express' Privacy Protection Policy
At ARK Air we take the privacy of our clients very seriously. With the addition of our online services this has never been more so. All reasonable measures are being taken to ensure that all information pertaining to our client list, shipments, personal and corporate data will remain solely in our possession and be used only in approved ways. We fully support all U.S. Government measures to protect the privacy of the individuals and companies with whom we maintain a working relationship.
Where and why we collect information
When setting up an account we will require the standard forms of identification for security purposes. Known Shipper status makes this necessary. This information is not available on our web site, and is held in strictest confidence in our office. When initiating access to the Online Airbill or Tracking pages, User ID's and passwords will be established. Again, within our office these are secure. We recognize the possibility of security issues in the online environment, and have taken all measures within our control to eliminate these. However, should a false airbill be opened, our personal contact with our customers will reveal it before any financial liability can be incurred. While Tracking information is available for authorized users to view and download, the possibility of unsecured users obtaining it does exist. Therefore we accept no responsibility for its dissemination through channels other than those we have set up. However, as a concerned member of the digital information community, we will prosecute to the fullest extent any individual found accessing privileged areas of our site and/or using information obtained therein for purposes other than those we or our customers have authorized. As always, the security of user IDs and passwords outside of our office cannot be ascribed to us.
Some information may be used for marketing purposes within our company, but will never be sold or released to other sources without the express permission of the individual or company to whom it pertains.

This information may be used to establish trends in shipments such as commodity lists, weights, dimensions and time related factors. Such marketing research is solely for the our benefit in regards to providing better and more efficient service for our valued customers.
When we disclose your information
Should a legal reason arise that your information needs to be disclosed to the proper authorities, we will comply fully. However, this is the only time that such information will be given out. We maintain no relationships with market research firms or solicitation companies, and will not sell your information under any circumstances.
Auto fill technologies
While we hope someday to offer a system by which an online database is maintained that will auto populate airbills based on the information previously supplied by the registered user, such a database is not currently available. As such, all auto population of airbills is handled at the local level, by the users computer. That information is not available from our web site. E-mail messages can be intercepted. Should we or one of our customers become the target of such action, measures will be taken to secure our E-correspondance.
